Assembly Operations
A large percentage of our business is the assembly of the components we manufacture into higher-level product. Ex. - Fan drive groups, tensioner assemblies, pulley assemblies, bracket assemblies, etc. We manage the whole BOM including purchase finish parts to build your assembly as required.
Value Added Services
We manage other Value Added Services through qualified and capable suppliers we have done business with for decades. These outside value added services including:
- Heat Treat- Direct Hardening, Carburize and Harden, Induction Hardening and others.
- Painting- Direct to Metal, Powder Coat, Topcoat. Experience with Caterpillar and Komatsu paint specs.
- Grinding- Centerless, Between Centers, Chucking. ID, OD and Blanchard Grinding.
- Plating- Zinc, Hard Chrome, Nickel and others.
- Welding
- Cleaning- 3 Stage Parts Washer with Rust Preventative Application. Capable of Meeting Rigorous Cleanliness Specifications of our OEM’s.
EDI Capabilities
Kemp Mfg. Co. is fully EDI compliant with OEM’s such as Caterpillar and Komatsu. We have the systems, technology and support to be compliant with any operating system or technical requirement to meet the needs of production. Purchase Orders, ASN’s, Material Requirements Planning, Specifications, Engineering Drawings, Collaboration Centers, etc.
